Award-winning social housing development of 39 homes built to Code for Sustainable Homes Level 5, achieving zero-carbon status through fabric-first approach and sustainable technologies including PV panels, heat recovery ventilation, and rainwater harvesting. Designed to achieve 60% or more improvement on NI Building Regulation CO2 emissions while meeting Lifetime Homes, Secured by Design, and DfC space parameters.

This award winning development of 39 social homes was the first to be built Code for Sustainable Homes Level 5 in Northern Ireland. Classed as 'zero carbon', the homes provide reduced energy costs for tenants. Combining a fabric first approach with sustainable technologies, including PV panels, heat recovery ventilation and rainwater harvesting, each home was designed to achieve an improvement of 60% or more on current NI Building Regulation CO2 emissions. The designers also had to ensure the scheme met the requirements of Lifetime Homes and Secured by Design, and the space parameters set by the DfC.
