Subsidised Intermediate Rent (SIR) product
SIR is an Intermediate Rent product with parameters established by DfC, detailed in their Intermediate Rent Policy (March 2023) and associated Design Standards, with specific funding arrangements through public sector support.
Two products are available that fall within the broad definition of intermediate housing for rent, which depend on whether the rental discount is being delivered with or without public sector support. They can be summarised as follows:
