Monitoring Indicator 19: Light Industrial, Industrial Storage and Distribution Uses
This indicator tracks the quantity and location of light industrial, industrial storage and distribution uses through planning approvals. The target is that no such uses should be located outside of MEL, SEL and existing employment areas.
Quantity and location of light industrial, industrial storage and distribution uses. Monitor floorspace of planning approvals via Employment Land Monitor (BCC). Relevant Policy: EC5. Target: No light industrial, industrial storage and distribution uses outside of MEL, SEL and existing employment areas. Trigger: 1 or more planning approvals for light industrial, industrial storage and distribution uses outside of MEL, SEL and existing employment areas
