LC4: Coastal Area Policy Designation
Interim designation of coastal areas identified through BMAP to protect their landscape value and nature conservation interest. These designations will remain in effect on an interim basis until reviewed in the Local Policies Plan.
LC4 Coastal area - dBMAP. The designated coastal areas were identified as part of the BMAP process to provide protection for their unique landscape value and nature conservation interest. Such areas were not previously designated under BUAP. Consequently, the designated coastal area boundaries as indicated in dBMAP will be used on an interim basis until these are reviewed in the Local Policies Plan.
