Policy DC9 – Residential caravans and mobile homes
Planning permission for residential caravans or mobile homes is only granted for temporary periods in exceptional circumstances, either as temporary accommodation pending permanent development or where compelling personal or domestic circumstances apply.
Planning permission will only be granted for a residential caravan or mobile home, for a temporary period only, in exceptional circumstances, including: a. The provision of temporary residential accommodation pending the development of a permanent dwelling; or b. Where there are compelling and site-specific reasons related to personal or domestic circumstances.
