Natural heritage policy aims and biodiversity improvements
The council aims to protect and enhance the district's natural heritage, provide appropriate protection to natural assets, and secure net improvements in biodiversity and green and blue infrastructure provision.
The policy also aims to secure net improvements in biodiversity whilst protecting or enhancing green and blue infrastructure provision in recognition of its wide ranging benefits.
