Recommended SuDS Measures
Developers should consider specific SuDS techniques including green roofs, swales, filter strips, permeable paving, detention basins, ponds, wetlands, trees and landscaping to minimize flood risk.
Developers should consider the following SuDS measures to assist in minimising flood risk:
a. Green roofs (intensive and/or extensive systems);
b. Swales;
c. Filter strips and filter drains;
d. Permeable or porous paving;
e. Detention basins;
f. Open areas, ponds and wetlands; and
g. Trees and landscaping.
