Access Exceptions - Other Countryside Development

Other types of countryside development may be approved for access onto a protected route in particular cases where development criteria are met and access from an adjacent minor road is not reasonably obtainable.

Other categories of development – approval may be justified in particular cases for other developments which would meet the criteria for development in the countryside and access cannot reasonably be obtained from an adjacent minor road. Where this cannot be achieved proposals will be required to make use of an existing vehicular access onto the protected route.
