Access Exceptions - Dwellings Serving Commercial or Industrial Enterprise

A dwelling serving an established commercial or industrial enterprise may access a protected route where development criteria are met and reasonable access from an adjacent minor road cannot be obtained.

A dwelling serving an established commercial or industrial enterprise – where a dwelling would meet the criteria for development set out in policy DC6 and access cannot reasonably be obtained from an adjacent minor road. Where this cannot be achieved proposals will be required to make use of an existing vehicular access onto the protected route.
