Development proximity to pollution sources
The council will assess the acceptability of development near potential pollution sources, with particular attention to sensitive uses such as residential development or areas of public use near waste management facilities.
The council will consider the acceptability of development in proximity to potential sources of pollution. Consideration will therefore need to be given to the sensitivity of development proposed in the vicinity of waste management facilities, particularly sensitive uses such as residential development or areas of public use.
