Tourism Policy TLC1: Supporting tourism leisure and cultural development
The council will support tourism, leisure, and culture development that extends visitor offerings across daytime and night-time activities and improves quality and accessibility of facilities, subject to meeting all other policy requirements including design, residential amenity protection, open space protection, and employment land protection.
TLC1: Supporting tourism leisure and cultural development
The council will support tourism leisure, and culture development that contributes to:
a. Extending the offer across the daytime and night time for a broad range of visitors; and
b. Improving the quality, and accessibility of tourism, leisure, and culture facilities and assets to support Belfast's reputation as an attractive tourism destination.
This will be subject to proposals meeting all other policy requirements, particularly those relating to design, protecting residential amenity, protection of open space and employment land.
