Policy EC5 – Industry and storage and distribution uses in rural settlements
Planning permission will be granted for Class B2 light industrial, Class B3 general industrial, and Class B4 storage and distribution uses within designated rural settlements where the scale, nature and design are appropriate to the settlement character.
Planning permission will also be granted for development proposals in Class B2 light industrial use, Class B3 general industrial use and Class B4 storage or distribution within the settlement limits of designated rural settlements provided the scale, nature and design of the proposal are appropriate to the character of the settlement and meets normal planning considerations.
