Acceptability of Watercourse Modification Proposals
Proposals for artificial modification of watercourses are only acceptable in exceptional circumstances, as they contradict the policy aim of making space for water.
Such proposals run contrary to the Council's aim of making space for water and will therefore only be acceptable in exceptional circumstances.
