Community Infrastructure - Accessibility and Contributions

New development that increases demand for community infrastructure should include contributions towards new or improved facilities and accessibility. Existing facilities and designated sites must be protected to ensure equal access to community infrastructure.

Where proposed new development results in increased demand for community infrastructure, it is considered reasonable that a contribution is made towards the provision of new or improved facilities or improved accessibility. This will help to promote and sustain equality of access to all community infrastructure facilities and reduce health inequality.
