Assessment of Partial Demolition Proposals
Partial demolition proposals must undergo rigorous assessment, particularly where building features like rear returns, bay windows, and chimneys contribute to the character of the building, conservation area, or ATC. These features often have historic detailing and contribute to roofscape rhythm.
Proposals for partial demolition will involve the same rigorous assessment as building features such as rear returns, bay windows and chimneys make a contribution to the character of their host building and / or conservation area or ATC.
