Management plans for apartment developments

Management plans should detail arrangements for maintenance of the building and landscaped areas, waste storage and collection, recycling, and security measures including CCTV and access control systems. For build-to-rent apartments, an accredited operator plan is particularly welcome.

Management plans are an appropriate mechanism to ensure a quality, safe and attractive place for residents to live and will typically include detailed arrangements for management and maintenance of the building, including any landscaped and amenity space. Arrangements for waste storage and collection, including recycling will be detailed. The safety and security of the residents is an important consideration and details of CCTV, access control systems and security lighting should be detailed in the planning application. If the proposal is for build-to-rent apartment then an accredited operator plan will be particularly welcome.
