Flood risk mitigation and long-term management
Development applicants must demonstrate adequate mitigation measures for flood risk to and from the development, with suitable arrangements for long-term management and maintenance of mitigation infrastructure.
The DA must demonstrate that adequate measures will be put in place to effectively mitigate the flood risk to the proposed development and from the development elsewhere. The DA must also include suitable arrangements for the long-term management and maintenance of the infrastructure, on which mitigation depends.
