SD3 - City Centre Development Policy
The council will support economic and residential development in the city centre directed to four broad areas. Development proposals must demonstrate how they will address thematic policies and city centre regeneration investment strategy.
The council will support new economic and residential development to create a compact and vibrant city centre. New development will be directed towards development opportunities located within the following broad areas: City Core; Innovation District; Mercantile District; and Waterfront District. Development proposals shall be required to demonstrate how they will address the thematic policies and the city centre regeneration investment strategy.
