District Centres - Accessibility and Residential Development
District centres have good accessibility and public transport connections, which support higher-density residential development in close proximity to these centres.
These areas often have good accessibility from neighbouring areas and are well served by public transport. As a result, higher density residential development can typically be supported in close proximity to such centres. The full extent of the district centre areas will be defined within the council's Local Policies Plan.
