Sustainable Development Strategy - six guiding principles
Six guiding principles strengthen the regional framework to address climate change and sustainability across environmental, social, economic, governance and innovation dimensions.
The strategy is supported by six guiding principles that strengthen the regional framework to address global issues such as climate change. The principles can be summarised as follows: Living within environmental limits; Ensuring a strong, healthy, just and equal society; Achieving a sustainable economy; Promoting good governance; Using sound science responsibly; and Promoting opportunity and innovation.
