Maximum reach dimensions for cleaning glazing from inside
Diagram 5.1 specifies maximum reach distances for safely cleaning glazing from inside: 1300 mm maximum horizontal distance and 850-1300 mm vertical distances depending on the cleaning method.
Diagram 5.1 Cleaning the external face of glazing from the inside. (a) maximum reach for cleaning glazing from an adjacent opening: not more than 1300 mm horizontal, 610 mm and 850 mm vertical measurements. (b) maximum reach for cleaning an open casement from inside a building: arc of maximum reach 850 mm, not more than 1300 mm.
