Controls in guest bedrooms - compliance with Part R
In guest bedrooms in non-dwelling buildings, window controls must meet additional requirements specified in Technical Booklet R: Section 5, beyond the standard provisions in Section 4.
Within a guest bedroom in a building other than a dwelling, a control used for opening and closing a window as required by Part R, will need to meet requirements in that part which are additional to the provisions described above. In such circumstances a control used for opening and closing a window should be provided complying with Technical Booklet R: Section 5.
