Location of controls - unobstructed reach
Controls for windows, skylights or ventilators must be within safe reach of a person standing on the floor. When reach is unobstructed, the control should not be more than 1.9 m above floor level.
Where reach is unobstructed the control should be not more than 1.9 m above floor level (see Diagram 4.1(a)).
