Compliance with Regulation 99 – window and skylight cleaning
Compliance with regulation 99 in Part V regarding cleaning of windows and skylights prevents improvement notices being served under workplace health and safety legislation.
Compliance with regulation 99 in Part V would in accordance with Section 25(3) of the Health and Safety at Work (Northern Ireland) Order 1978, prevent an improvement notice being served, with regard to the requirements for cleaning windows and skylights, etc. in regulation 16 of the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1993.
