Critical Locations Definition
Defines critical locations for glazing as areas between floor/access level and 800 mm above in walls/partitions, or 1500 mm above in doors and side panels within 300 mm of door edges. These are high-risk areas where glazing safety is most important.
Critical locations – between finished floor level/access route level and –
(a) 800 mm above that level in walls and partitions; and
(b) 1500 mm above that level in a door or in a side panel within 300 mm of either edge of a door.
