Width of horizontal circulation routes
Horizontal circulation routes within common areas must be level or ramped with an unobstructed width of not less than 1200 mm, or 1000 mm where a handrail is provided.
A horizontal circulation route within a common area should be level or ramped and have an unobstructed width of not less than 1200 mm. Where a handrail is provided, the width at handrail level may be reduced to not less than 1000 mm.
