Shower facilities in sports activity buildings
Buildings with shower facilities for sports activities must provide both an incorporated wheelchair accessible shower within communal facilities and a separate individual wheelchair accessible shower room.
In addition to the requirements of paragraph 6.27, where there is a shower facility in a building for sports activities, an individual wheelchair accessible shower room should also be provided. See Diagram 6.6.
