Manoeuvring space in standard water closet compartments
Standard water closet compartments in separate sex sanitary accommodation must provide a minimum unobstructed manoeuvring space of 450 mm diameter clear of any door swing where the door opens into the compartment.
Within traditional separate sex sanitary accommodation, a water closet compartment not designed as suitable for ambulant disabled people or wheelchair users should, where the door opens into the compartment, have an unobstructed manoeuvring space of not less than 450 mm diameter clear of any door swing.
