Corridor and passageway width requirements

Corridors and passageways must be wide enough to allow people with assistance dogs, buggies, and other aids to pass others, and wheelchair users must be able to access adjacent rooms, pass other people, and turn through 180° where necessary.

Corridors and passageways need to be wide enough to allow people with assistance dogs, buggies, people carrying cases, etc., to pass others on the access route. Wheelchair users should also have access to adjacent rooms and spaces, be able to pass other people and, where necessary, turn through 180°.
