Wayfinding and signage for accessible entrances
Accessible entrances must be clearly indicated with appropriate signage (such as the International Symbol of Access) from the boundary, parking areas, and from principal or staff entrances where those are not themselves accessible.
An accessible entrance should be clearly indicated (e.g. by signs incorporating the International Symbol of Access), from –
(a) the point of entrance at the boundary;
(b) suitable car parking which is provided within the boundary;
(c) the principal entrance, where the principal entrance is not an accessible entrance; and
(d) a staff entrance, where that staff entrance is not an accessible entrance.
