Alterations - maintenance of accessibility

When altering a building, accessibility must be maintained or improved. The building, including access from the boundary and on-site car parking, must be no less accessible after completion than before the work.

When a building is altered the alterations must comply with the requirements of Regulation 91 in Part R. The building, including access to it from the boundary and from on site car parking, where provided, must be no less accessible after completion of the alterations than it was before the work was carried out.
