Section 7: Access to dwellings from boundary or vehicle alighting point
Buildings must facilitate people with a range of abilities to approach and gain access to a dwelling and to a common entrance of a block of dwellings from the boundary or the point of alighting from a vehicle on a driveway within the plot.
The guidance in Section 7 is to facilitate people with a range of abilities to approach and gain access into a dwelling and to a common entrance of a block of dwellings e.g. flats, from the boundary or the point of alighting from a vehicle on a driveway within the plot.
