Installation Requirements and Qualified Operatives
Installation must be carried out by a person holding a current Registered Operative Identity Card for unvented hot water storage systems issued by specified bodies including the Association of Installers of Unvented Hot Water Storage Systems (Scotland and Northern Ireland), the Institute of Plumbing, the Construction Industry Training Board, or an equivalent body.
The installation must be carried out by a person holding a current Registered Operative Identity Card for the installation of unvented hot water storage systems issued by – (a) the Association of Installers of Unvented Hot Water Storage Systems (Scotland and Northern Ireland); (b) the Institute of Plumbing; (c) the Construction Industry Training Board; or (d) an equivalent body.
