Environmental, Economic and Social Benefits of Renewable Energy
The environmental, economic and social benefits of renewable energy proposals will be given appropriate weight in planning decisions, with particular welcome for micro-generation or technology integrated into building fabric that does not adversely impact neighbouring amenity.
DM 45.3 The environmental, economic and social benefits of all proposals for renewable energy projects will be given appropriate weight in determining whether planning permission should be granted. The Council welcomes proposals for micro-generation or technology integrated into the fabric of buildings, where this will not impact adversely on neighbouring amenity.
