In-Building Physical Infrastructure Design

Suitable physical infrastructure must connect each network termination point to the access point, with ducting or cable tray type, size, and routing designed to accommodate current and expected future technology, in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.

Suitable physical infrastructure should be provided to connect each network termination point to the appropriate access point. The type, size and routing of ducting or cable tray should be designed to suit the technology that is or may be expected to be available to the building. Manufacturers' specifications should also be referred to.
