Development Near Mineral Reserves - Buffer Zone Assessment
Development within 250m of identified mineral reserves must be assessed to determine whether mineral extraction operations would be prejudiced and whether the proposal would suffer adverse impacts from future mineral extraction.
Development within 250m of identified reserves will also be carefully scrutinised to determine whether: (a) The operations necessary to recover the mineral or its subsequent processing would be prejudiced by the proposal; and (b) The proposal itself may be adversely impacted or suffer nuisance as a result of future mineral exploitation.
