Material specification for chimneys by fuel type
Guidance on minimum material specifications for chimneys is provided in the UK National Annex to BS EN 1856: 1 and 2, with specifications varying by fuel type (solid fuel, gas, and oil) to ensure adequate corrosion resistance.
