Information Requirements for Minerals Proposals

Minerals applications must submit comprehensive information detailing operational impacts including machinery use, cumulative effects, hours of operation, blasting, noise, visual impact, traffic, water and air quality, ecological impacts, mitigation measures, extraction timeline, and site restoration plans.

Information to be submitted will include a range of detail to demonstrate the full impact of the proposal, including but not limited to details of the operation of the site including use of machinery, cumulative impact, hours of operation, blasting operations, noise, visual impact, traffic, water quality, air quality, ecological/habitat impact and any necessary mitigation measures proposed in response to any potential environmental or amenity health impacts, proposed time period for extraction and proposed site restoration.
