Fire Wall Location and Construction
Fire walls for LPG installations must be located according to Diagram 6.1 and constructed in accordance with specified diagrams, with imperforate construction from brick, concrete or solid masonry.
Where a fire wall is part of a building or a boundary wall it should be located in accordance with Diagram 6.1(c) and if part of a building it should be constructed in accordance with Diagram 6.1(d). A fire wall should be imperforate and substantially constructed from brick, concrete or solid masonry. It should have a fire resistance (insulation, integrity and stability) of not less than 30 minutes, but where it forms part of a building, 60 minutes fire resistance.
