Appliances fitted in bedrooms, bathrooms and shower rooms
Open-flued oil-fired appliances must not be installed in bedrooms, bathrooms or shower rooms due to increased risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. If an appliance must be installed in such rooms, it must be a room-sealed appliance.
An open-flued oil-fired appliance should not be installed in a bedroom, bathroom or shower room as there is an increased risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. If a combustion appliance must be installed in such a room then a room-sealed appliance should be provided.
