Class of oil
Oil burning appliances covered by this section must be designed to burn oils meeting specifications for Class C2 (Kerosene) and Class D (Gas oil) in BS 2869, liquid biofuel conforming to BS EN 14213, or blends of mineral oil and liquid biofuel.
The provisions in this Section are relevant to combustion installations designed to burn oils meeting the specifications for Class C2 (Kerosene) and Class D (Gas oil) given in BS 2869, liquid biofuel conforming to BS EN 14213 and blends of mineral oil and liquid biofuel.
