Policy DM 43: Minerals Development - Conditions for Support (Part a)

Proposals for new mineral workings or extensions must address disturbance and disruption from noise, blasting, vibration, and potential pollution of land, air, and water to the satisfaction of the Council.

Proposals for new minerals workings or the extension of existing workings will generally be supported where the following matters have been addressed to the satisfaction of the Council: (a) Disturbance and disruption from noise, blasting and vibration and potential pollution of land, air and water;
