Unconventional Hydrocarbon Extraction Policy
The Council supports a regional policy position prohibiting unconventional hydrocarbon extraction, including fracking, until full environmental impacts are established.
In addition, the Council supports the regional policy position that there shall be no unconventional hydrocarbon extraction (which includes fracking) until such times as the full environmental impacts of such development is known.
