Diagram 3.2 - Flue outlet positions for readily ignitable roofs

Specifies minimum clearances for flue outlets discharging onto roofs with readily ignitable surfaces: Location A requires 1800 mm vertical clearance and 600 mm above ridge; Location B requires 1800 mm vertical and 2300 mm horizontal clearance.

Location of flue outlet A: not less than 1800 mm vertically above the weather surface and not less than 600 mm above the ridge. B: not less than 1800 mm vertically above the weather surface and not less than 2300 mm horizontally from the weather surface. Flue outlets should be above the shaded areas. This diagram must be read in conjunction with Table 3.3
