Alternative Approach Using British Standards
Regulations 70, 71 and 73 can be met by following relevant British Standards publications as an alternative to this Technical Booklet.
The requirements of regulations 70, 71 and 73 in Part L could also be met by adopting the relevant recommendations in the publications listed below to achieve an equivalent level of performance to that obtained by following the guidance in this Technical Booklet – BS 8303: Part 1, BS 5440: Part 2, BS 5410: Part 1.
