Marine Area Assessment - UK Marine Policy Statement and Northern Ireland Marine Plan
Development proposals affecting the marine area, including the Belfast Lough Coastal Policy Area, will be assessed against the UK Marine Policy Statement and the Northern Ireland Marine Plan once adopted.
It should be noted that, in addition to the policy provisions set out in this policy, all development proposals which affect or might affect the whole or any part of the marine area (which includes the Belfast Lough Coastal Policy Area) will also be assessed against the provisions within the UK Marine Policy Statement and the Northern Ireland Marine Plan, once adopted.
