Rapid ventilation and purging requirements for offices

Each office must have rapid ventilation provision to reduce pollutants to acceptable levels before occupation, with purged air taken directly outside and not recirculated to other building parts.

Rapid ventilation provision is required in each office (see paragraph 2.28). The total ventilation should be sufficient to reduce pollutants to an acceptable level before the space is occupied. The purged air should be taken directly to outside and should not be recirculated to any other part of the building.
