Ecological Appraisal and Protected Species Surveys
Where a protected species may exist on site or be impacted by development, developers must undertake a suitable ecological appraisal including protected species surveys where necessary.
Where there is potential or evidence to suggest, that a protected species exists on the site or is likely to be impacted by a development proposal, the developer will be required to undertake a suitable ecological appraisal, including where necessary, surveys for protected species.
