Dwellings within larger mixed-use buildings
When a dwelling is constructed as part of a larger building with other accommodation types, Section 2 guidance applies to individual dwellings and Section 3 applies to non-dwelling parts.
When constructing a dwelling as part of a larger building that contains other types of accommodation, Section 2 of this Technical Booklet should be used for guidance in relation to each individual dwelling. Section 3 gives guidance relating to the non-dwelling parts of such buildings.
