Measurement of guarding height
Guarding height is measured vertically from the floor or landing level, ramp surface, or pitch line of a flight. Balustrades at the top of flights or ramps may be continuous and at the same angle.
The height of guarding should be measured vertically from the level of a floor or landing, the surface of a ramp or the pitch line of a flight.
However, the top of a portion of any balustrade guarding a landing at the top of a flight or ramp, may be continuous with, and at the same angle as, the top of a balustrade guarding that flight or ramp.
